Love is Love
In 2017, female art couple Fleur Pierets & Julian P. Boom started 22, a performance art piece in which they would marry in every country that legalized same-sex marriage. Fleur and Julian got married in New York, Amsterdam, Antwerp and Paris. After the 4th. wedding, Julian was diagnosed with brain cancer. She died on January 22, 2018.
In this second volume children’s book Love is Love Fleur continues to fulfill the dream of their beautiful project.
Fleur and Julian travel and get married in the second 14 countries of the 28 that legalized same-sex marriage. In the book they are learning the fascinating traditions, customs and peculiarities surrounding marriage in each country.
A resource page at the back of the book provides information on same-sex laws and LGBTQ+ organizations in each of the countries.
